Association for the Benefit of DIFFERENTLY ABLED Children

Heart and Hand for the Handicapped (HHH) is a not for profit organization founded in 1971. We raise funds to support organizations in India and the United States that serve differently able children.  Our aim is to provide children the gift of sight, mobility or independence to maximum number of children.

Funds have been donated to over 200 organizations in India and over 25 in the United States.  HHH's expense ratio has been around 17% in the past few years. Our goal is to lower our expenses to under 15% of the total budget.  Our administrative expense per IRS filing 990 is less than 5% of the revenue.  Donations are handled with the utmost integrity. Organizations that receive our grants must provide frequent updates as to how the grant is being utilized.  We raise funds through fund-raising dinners, walk-a-thons, direct mail solicitations, United Way, matching gift programs, and donations of stocks and bonds.
